We are seeking a Fiscal Grant Coordinator for our Finance Department

Responsibilities & Duties for Fiscal Grant Coordinator:

Assisting senior staff with reporting, routine monitoring, and basic data entry around:

Expense requests

Appropriate or matching funds

Forecast of future spending trends

The maintenance records of all financial transactions

The monitoring of grant budgets and spending

Submission of invoices and payment requests to draw down grant funds

Creation of closeout reports at grants end

Share budget updates with Finance Director and Finance Administrators

Qualifications and Skills for Fiscal Grant Coordinator:
Spreadsheet Proficiency:
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formula formatting Exposure or understanding of General Ledger and Payroll software systems. Basic Fund Accounting:
Understanding of standard cost coding, ledger balances, and budget-to-actual tracking Regulatory Literacy:
Ability to read and interpret complex government guidelines

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field. Equivalency Option:
An Associate's degree combined with 2 years of clerical accounting, medical billing, or local government administrative support.

Experience:

0 to 2 years of experience pre and post award grant responsibilities
