The City of Suffolk is seeking a Communications Operator (New Dispatcher) to work in the Emergency Communications Center on 12-hour shifts. You will answer 911 and non-emergency calls, dispatch Police, Fire, EMS, and other agencies, and use CAD and radio systems to coordinate responses.
Candidates must graduate high school or have a GED and obtain or qualify for CPR re-certification, Emergency Medical Dispatch training, and state dispatcher certification.
