The City of Suffolk Police Department seeks a School Resource Officer (SRO) in the Special Operations Division to foster a safe, engaging environment at Suffolk Public Schools. Under general supervision, you will patrol, respond to incidents, prepare reports, and testify in court.
Requirements include a high school diploma and three years in law enforcement or an equivalent;
Virginia officer certification or reciprocity; SRO certification preferred; and 40 hours of in-service training annually.
