The City of Suffolk seeks an Experienced Dispatcher to join its Emergency Communications Center. Work a 12-hour shift answering 911 and non-emergency calls, dispatching Police, Fire and EMS, and coordinating with other agencies.
Candidates must have high school diploma or GED, Basic Dispatcher State certification, VCIN/NCIC certification, Emergency Medical Dispatch training, CPR, and at least two years in public safety dispatching; multiple certifications preferred.
