American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position serving a large Suffolk area, requiring recent home health and HCHB EMR experience.
Responsibilities- Provide home health OT services to patients within up to a 60-mile radius in the Suffolk area
- Geriatric patient population with an average daily caseload of 5-7 patients
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- No on-call requirements
- Utilize HCHB electronic medical record system
- Facility provides iPad for documentation purposes
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Complete timely documentation and maintain strong communication
- Scrubs of any color required; jeans are not permitted
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Local candidates are accepted at travel rates
- Active Occupational Therapist license in hand (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 recent year of home health OT experience
- Oasis assessment experience required
- Experience with HCHB EMR required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work flexibly across an expansive territory
