Qualifications and Credentials Needed:
- Valid, current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Virginia
- Previous experience with school-aged children or in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to students unique needs
- Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and set measurable goals
- Collaborate with educators and parents to ensure student success in the classroom
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and therapy sessions according to regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as requested
- Support student independence in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills

This is a full-time, 37.5 hour per week position, Monday through Friday, supporting a diverse K-12 student community.
