The Surgical Assistant at Harbour View Medical Center provides support under the surgeon, performing hand scrub, gowning and gloving, assisting as first or second assistant, and upholding sterile technique in the operating room.
Requires high school diploma, completion of a Surgical Assistant Program, CPR/BLS; CSA/NSAA/NCCSA;
Virginia Board of Medicine registration if based in Virginia; and at least one year healthcare experience preferred.
