Medical Laboratory Scientist

Overview

Sentara Belle harbour in Suffolk, VA is hiring a lab technician to work part‑time (11a.m.–7:30p.m.) in the clinical lab. A sign‑on bonus up to $8,000 is available for qualified candidates.

• Perform laboratory tests; interpret results; document and report results.
• Maintain department equipment, instruments, and tools.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s in medical technology, biology or chemical science, or an associate’s degree in medical technology.
• Certification/Licensure: ASCP or AMT certification; OR AAB certification for MLS only.
