Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in network operations and a strong background in supporting mission-critical IT systems. In this role, you will assist with the monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient operation in support of mission requirements.
Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze network performance to identify issues and optimize performance.
- Provide technical support for day-to-day network operations, ensuring reliability, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve incidents quickly.
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Support the implementation of IT infrastructure changes and network upgrades.
- Apply ITIL processes (Incident Management, Change Management, etc.) to ensure efficient service delivery and incident resolution.
- Assist in creating and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Report on network performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of network operations technical expertise.
- Certifications: ITIL v3 or later Foundations certification required.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
- Familiarity with network management tools and technologies.
- Understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and support system enhancements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
