Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Product Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders to define and deliver data-driven solutions in support of reporting, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a business-facing role ideally suited for someone with product management experience in data, reporting, and analytics, combined with a solid understanding of Azure-based data platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to gather and define data/reporting requirements
- Analyze existing data workflows and reporting architecture to identify pain points and improvement areas
- Contribute to the design of data marts, ETL processes, and cloud-based data models
- Help move on-prem data infrastructure and workflows to Azure cloud services
- Participate in data analysis, modeling, and workflow orchestration efforts
- Ensure proper documentation of data processes and ensure consistency across reporting structures
- Provide input into data pipeline orchestration and performance optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a Product Manager, Data Analyst, or Data Product role
- Proven experience in business-facing roles for data/reporting/analytics projects
- Strong understanding of Azure Data Services, including (but not limited to):
- Hands-on SQL skills for querying and analysis (not deep like a BI/Data Analyst)
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and designing data marts
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration and tools like Apache Airflow
- Must have industry experience in Asset Management or Investment Management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops
- Familiarity with Azure Stream Analytics, Databricks, or Analysis Services
- Experience troubleshooting data architecture latency and performance issues
