• Serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the OPERATIONS DIVISION (NAO2), NAVY AUTHORIZING OFFICIAL DIRECTORATE at U.S. FLEET CYBER COMMAND.
• Perform iterative and in-depth analysis of required or supporting artifacts early in a system’s life cycle to assess the extent to which adequate security protections will be/are built into a system.
• Conduct comprehensive review of the Assessment and Authorization (A/A) package to perform assessment of residual risk.
• Serve as a project lead and define plan of objectives and milestones (POA/M) to achieve stated overall objectives.
• Optimize POA/M's to deconflict assignment of limited subject matter expert (SME) assets and project schedules.
• Identify and assess vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential shortfalls in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT assets and associated data.
• Collaborate with Authority to Operate (ATO) requesters and other stakeholders as A/A packages are reviewed, analyzed, and iteratively refined.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information derived from a variety of sources and validate products to provide a complete ATO decision package.
• Assess effects associated with the implementation of approved risk management plans on the security and integrity of assigned customers’ IT assets throughout the system life cycle.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of emerging technologies and operational issues that could affect risk assessment work and workflow process automation.

• Will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
• This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 611, proficiency level ADVANCED. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
