Jr. Technical Business Analyst

Overview

Junior Technical Business Analyst –

Location:

D.C., Maryland, Virginia. Hybrid or Remote (if remote must be able to come to the Reston, VA office as needed).

• Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with team members on the status of tasks, including presentations during status update meetings.
• Support requirements gathering by working with stakeholders and project team members to document business needs and assist with solution discussions.
• Learn client processes and procedures and identify opportunities for process and technology improvements.
• Gain familiarity with ICF's technology solutions and support project teams in delivering client solutions.
• Support user training efforts and assist with documenting and resolving system issues.

• Minimum:
  Bachelor's degree in Science, Math, IT, Computer Science, or related fields. Knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
• Preferred: 1+ years of IT experience; experience documenting requirements, use cases, test cases, or related project materials; exposure to utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors; client-facing experience; strong collaboration and organizational skills; and experience with issue tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, SharePoint, Smartsheet).
• Ability to translate business needs into clear documentation and support testing to ensure high-quality products.
