Linux System Administrator
TECHEAD is seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to support the JS J7 Joint Training Dev Sec Ops pipeline. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the core infrastructure and data center operations supporting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT). This position is 100% onsite in Suffolk, VA, and requires a dedicated professional capable of maintaining high-availability environments and supporting mission-critical training infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration:
Maintain, monitor, and optimize core Linux infrastructure within the Dev Sec Ops pipeline. - Infrastructure Support:
Manage and support data center operations for the DDJT. - Technical Operations:
Ensure system security, stability, and performance across the environment. - Dev Sec Ops Pipeline:
Actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of the training pipeline infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance is required. - Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant, hands-on experience in Linux system administration. - Technical
Certifications:
Must hold one of the following: CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP. - Red Hat Certification:
Must hold an active RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) or RHCDS (Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist) certification.
