Lead Cleaner

Job Description

We’re hiring! Join our team as a Full‑Time Cleaner, weekends included, for an office space facility located in Suffolk, VA.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $18.50 (Paid Weekly)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekends included)

Lead Cleaner III is responsible for giving direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners.

• Provide leadership and direction to team members
• Relay communication between team members, client, customers and management
• Report performance issues to the Supervisor
• Assist with the training of cleaning team
• Coordinate work assignments
• Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property
• Report work orders for maintenance
• Makes sure premises are secured at all times
• Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Manager
• Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
• Complete order forms completely and accurately
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided

• Customer Service Experience
• One (1) year of similar work experience
