Job Description Responsibilities- Follow all SAFETY procedures and all GMPs
. - Set up presses to attain standard speeds with minimal scrap rate.
- Set up print jobs and maintain quality of print throughout the run, performing wash-ups of plates and blankets, adjusting print pressures, and registration as needed.
- Verify production paperwork for accuracy before, during, and after run.
- Record production, scrap, and downtime on travelers.
- Troubleshoot and adjust machines to maintain efficient production and report any problems to Printing Supervisor or Maintenance.
- Clear unload and in-feed jams and return to production.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines according to PM form.
- Maintain work areas for cleanliness and return all tools to proper locations.
- All other duties assigned by Supervisor.
- 2 to 5 years hands-on experience
- High School graduate or GED
- Strong commitment to safety
- Mechanically inclined
- Excellent attendance
- Must pass color-blindness test
- Work well with others
- Leadership qualities
