Your rolePlays an important role and is responsible for all change over, troubleshooting and defined Autonomous Maintenance activities. The Operations Technician reports to the Production Supervisor. The Operations Technician is a member of the Autonomous Maintenance Pillar. This individual possesses strong teamwork, interpersonal, written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Your key responsibilities:- Comply with all policies, procedures, safety, and sanitation rules
- Report unsafe acts and conditions, correct if possible
- All job functions are to be performed in compliance with the plant’s safety and quality assurance programs
- Always puts Safety first when considering an improvement to current/new equipment or process changes
- Must achieve qualification level and completion of all training modules associated with assigned equipment
- Coach and train teams on problem solving and troubleshooting techniques according to Unilever/WCM Standards
- Design and implement training program for operators on technical and quality training. Provide feedback for improving the existing training program
- Understand Plant KPI requirements and fosters/drives teams to meet those requirements using WCM Tools/Techniques
- Accountable for high performance standards and able to give and receive constructive feedback
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and able to be a link with External parties.
- Able to participate in the development of training material for next steps in the WCM Process.
- Must be a high performer/technically capable and self-directed in current/previous role.
- Prepare assigned areas for sanitation audits and tours.
- Complete all other assigned duties.
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years warehouse experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift 50 lbs.
- Must achieve qualification level and completion of all training modules associated with assigned equipment.

Starting Pay: $24.36/hour
