Travel Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit
Sentara Obici Hospital located in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring an experienced Traveler Registered Nurse for the IMCU Stepdown unit.

The IMCU at Sentara Obici Hospital provides care for patients with a variety of surgical, cardiac, and post‑procedural neuro cases that stepdown from ICU. This unit sees a ratio of 1:5 with mixed patient acuity levels and is well supported with additional patient care technicians, educators, and a strong leadership team.
Education- Associate, Bachelor, Master, or diploma in the nursing field required.
- Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
Primary duties include assessing and admitting patients, performing rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of patients. You will work in a teamwork‑focused environment with colleagues to ensure the best care for our patients.
