Job Duties

This position will utilize nursing process with knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric disorders and physical, psychological and social needs of the psychiatric patient. Skills in delegating nursing activities, supervising, and counseling nursing employees. Demonstrates competency as defined on Competency Assessment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid VA drivers License
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Virginia State Board Of Registered Nursing License
Additional Considerations
  • Considerable Psychiatric and/or geriatric experience is preferred
  • Med-surg nursing experience is preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • Long Term Care and Nursing Home Experience is preferred
  • Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records
