Assumes 24‑hour responsibility for supervising and coordinating the administrative and operational activities in the assigned areas. Collaborates with ancillary and interdisciplinary teams to develop goals and objectives based on analysis of clinical data to improve patient outcomes and create a culture of excellence. Responsible for achieving targeted KPIs and identified outcomes at the unit level.
Essential Functions- Provides daily operational oversight, management, and clinical support to the health care team.

Education- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
- Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Health Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Current RN license in state of employment or covered by compact (required)
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire)
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred)
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred)
- NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (preferred)
- TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (preferred)
- ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (preferred)
- National Board Certification Specialty (preferred)
- Nurse Executive Certification or designated specialty certification (preferred)
- At least 3 years of professional nursing experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities (required)
- 1 year experience in an appropriate specialty area (preferred)
- Prior management or supervisory experience (preferred)
