Job Description:
We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for implementing clinical education programs across multiple skilled nursing facilities within an assigned region. This role partners closely with the Director of Nursing Education and facility leadership teams to improve clinical competency, enhance quality outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
The Regional Clinical Nurse Educator will serve as a guide and resource for the nursing staff, helping nurses and CNAs build confidence, strengthen clinical skills, and provide quality resident centered care.
This individual will report to the Director of Nursing Education.
Responsibilities- Implement clinical education programs across multiple skilled nursing facilities within an assigned region.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing Education and facility leadership to improve clinical competency and quality outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Serve as a guide and resource for nursing staff to build confidence and strengthen clinical skills.

- RN license (may consider LPN with previous management experience)
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing and post-acute care setting
- Previous leadership experience preferred (DON, ADON, SDC, Unit manager or similar role)
- Knowledge of the survey process, infection control, quality measures and clinical operations within a long-term setting preferred
- Must be willing to travel frequently to facilities in the Suffolk, VA region
