Emergency Department Nurse Manager: Lead Excellence

Bon Secours is a faith-based, patient-focused organization dedicated to enhancing the health and well‑being of all people in mind, body, and spirit through exceptional patient care. This role offers a sign‑on bonus of up to $20,000 for the Emergency Room Manager at Harbour View Medical Center.

Assumes 24‑hour responsibility for supervising and coordinating the administrative and operational activities in the assigned areas. Collaborates with ancillary and interdisciplinary teams to develop goals and objectives based on analysis of clinical data to improve patient outcomes and create a culture of excellence. Responsible for achieving targeted KPIs and identified outcomes at the unit level.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
• Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Health Administration, or related field (preferred)

• Current RN license in the state of work or covered by compact (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must be obtained from an approved source before entering the patient care setting)
• Certifications based on unit(s) overseen and specific unit requirements:
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred)
• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred)
• NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (preferred)
• TNCC Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (preferred)
• ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (preferred)
• National Board Certification Specialty (preferred)
• Registered Nurse Executive Certification or designated specialty certification (preferred)

• Minimum 3 years as a professional nurse with demonstrated leadership capabilities (required)
• At least 1 year in an appropriate specialty area (preferred)
• Prior management/supervisory experience (preferred)
