Overview
Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Surgery Unit at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.
Work Shift:
Third (Nights)
The 21‑bed medical‑surgical unit provides a collaborative and supportive environment ideal for new graduates and experienced nurses. The unit is part of a certified stroke center and a Magnet hospital, offering opportunities for professional development and mentorship.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN is responsible for providing competent nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, in accordance with the nursing process and professional standards.
Education- Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Students finishing an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nursing degree or diploma required.
- Active RN license required.
- Students completing RN license process.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
- No prior experience required.
- 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
