Role Overview
The Regional Nurse Educator is responsible for implementing clinical education programs across multiple skilled nursing facilities within an assigned region.
They collaborate with facility leadership and the Director of Nursing Education to enhance clinical competency, improve quality outcomes, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
The role involves serving as a resource for nursing staff, supporting resident-centered care, and strengthening clinical skills to boost staff confidence.
The position reports to the Director of Nursing Education and requires frequent travel within the region.
Key Responsibilities- Implement clinical education programs across facilities.
- Partner with leadership to improve clinical skills and quality metrics.
- Foster ongoing learning and professional development.
- Support staff confidence and resident care quality.
- RN license (LPN considered with management experience).
- Minimum of 5 years in long-term, skilled, or post-acute care.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of survey processes, infection control, and clinical operations.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
