As part of Sentara Health, Obici is dedicated to improving health every day through innovation, collaboration, and clinical excellence.  The Director of Nursing at Sentara Louise Obici Hospital is responsible for coordinating the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations. This leader coordinates the development, marketing, and strategic planning of new and existing services across multiple hospitals.

The Director contributes to organizational success through achievement of system, hospital, and divisional goals, while setting the vision and culture, building ownership, and driving process improvement for sustainable, value-added services. Responsibilities include leadership oversight and administration of fiscal, corporate, and human resource policies and practices within a multi-skilled, multifunctional environment.

* ** Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required
* Master’s Degree strongly preferred  
** Certification/Licensure
*** Active RN license in VA required
* NE-BC (Nurse Executive-Board Certified) or CENP (Certified in Executive Nursing Practice) Certification preferred  
** Experience
* ** Minimum five years of experience in Nursing Leadership required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $ - $ annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Note:

If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
