Conops Analyst
As a CONOPS ANALYST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
The incumbent is responsible for reviewing and supporting the development of future Joint Concepts, developing CONOPS that apply the Joint Concepts against real-world operational problems, and supporting the design of the applications of the CONOPS into analytic activities such as wargames, Table-Top Exercises (TTX), and analytic studies including but not limited to sustainability, maneuver, fires, command and control and capabilities.
The incumbent develops CONOPS that represent the central idea, operational approaches, and concept required capabilities in joint concepts for the purpose of evaluation and development of joint force development and design recommendations.
Incumbent participates in seminars, meetings, workshops, conferences, panels, working groups, assessments, studies, concept evaluations, wargames and exercises related to the development and evaluation of joint concepts and development of CONOPS with participants from the Joint Staff, U.S. Combatant Commands, Combat Service Support Agencies, Services, interagency, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and multinational partners.
