In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify access permissions, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and attentive communication. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

+ Monitor access points and help control entry and exit activity by checking credentials, confirming visitor authorization, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Support lobby and reception operations by providing directions, assisting with visitor processing, and reporting unusual activity or access control issues to the appropriate contact.

* + A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
