Overview

(Suffolk, VA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Technician with experience in hydraulics, compressors, and related mechanical systems, along with a working knowledge of electrical systems. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing industrial equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, compressors, pumps, and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic to intermediate electrical components such as motors, switches, sensors, and control panels.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, electrical diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Inspect equipment to identify malfunctions, wear, or needed adjustments.
• Install, test, and commission new or repaired equipment as required.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
• Communicate equipment issues and repair status with supervisors and team members.

• Experience working with hydraulic systems, compressors, and industrial mechanical equipment.
• Basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
• Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, grease, and varying temperatures.
