Warehouse Selector - AM Shift

Warehouse Associate (Selector) – Suffolk

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast‑paced, multi‐temperature environment focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly—from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

All Associates:

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

All Associates:

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice‑directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

• Shift start time: 4:00am
• Full‑time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: –5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 5‑day work week,
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

• $21.63/hour
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
