RTV​/NCO Equipment Operator; 1st Shift

Overview

• Receive pallets of product with pack slips.
• Examine and inspect product, containers, and materials to ensure packing within established guidelines.
• Work on automated packing lines and operate equipment such as label collation, case erector, tape dispenser, glue dispenser, pick and place, and load invoices.
• Set up and operate machines to build mailers/boxes and prepare packages for shipment, including initial pack lists, stamps, affixing labels, tickets, tags, and inserting program guides.
• Construct the box, seal and apply label in proper position on the package.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials and place them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified staging locations.
• Operate motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment to safely stage and move product throughout the distribution center.
• Assist other fulfillment personnel to ensure prompt shipment or returns processing of customer orders within established department standards.
• Operate a computer system and manually track information to facilitate flow of merchandise and communicate daily production run schedule.
• Support the packing team by expediting collates, product, packaging supplies and other necessary materials, researching packer problems and rectifying counts for extra pack slips or product.
• Promote a team approach by cooperating with all staff at the Distribution Center to ensure customer orders are packed and shipped within established time frames.
• Pick (bin/reserve) and put away merchandise, including replenishment, using powered equipment.
• Initiate transactions through the RF system to ensure that the correct merchandise has been electronically updated.
• Identify, separate, scan, palletize, and wrap merchandise to maximize trailer or storage cube capacity.
• Complete inventory consolidations, including the aged product kill process.
• Receive inbound freight using a handheld RF unit and help with put‑away.
• Maintain the supply of empty pallets and move pallets to staging area.
• Support RTV operations as needed.
• Operate and monitor the dynamic scan/scale operation and maintain and run the sorter, reporting any irregularities to facilities and supervisor.
• Identify issues with flow of product to trailers and communicate with the console operator, monitoring inducts and informing manifesting personnel when truck reaches capacity.

• Working knowledge of PCs including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time, and work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment to meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of distribution/merchandising processes.
• Knowledge of distribution, returns, inventory control, merchandising, traffic or finance areas.
• Working knowledge of WMS and inventory systems.
• Basic Access knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Hourly: $19.20 - $19.20.
