Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead to support our Warehouse & Manufacturing operations within the Facility Services industry. This role oversees daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound shipments. The Shift Lead coordinates team workloads, monitors safety and quality standards, and ensures on-time, accurate operations. You will train and coach associates, support continuous improvement, and partner with supervisors on staffing and performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse associates during assigned shifts to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing and priorities to meet service and production requirements.
- Oversee receiving, staging, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities in alignment with customer and KBS standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to KBS safety policies and OSHA guidelines, including proper use of PPE, equipment, and lockout/tagout procedures where applicable.
- Conduct regular safety and housekeeping checks to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Train, coach, and support team members on standard operating procedures, safe material handling, and proper use of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound orders, inventory counts, labels, and documentation to minimize errors and shrinkage.
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure on-time loading, unloading, and shipment scheduling.
- Monitor equipment condition, complete basic troubleshooting, and escalate maintenance needs to appropriate contacts.
- Track shift performance metrics such as units per hour, order accuracy, and attendance, and communicate results to site or operations management.
- Support staffing processes by providing input on hiring needs, new hire onboarding, and performance feedback for warehouse associates.
- Complete required shift reports, incident reports, and inventory adjustments accurately and on time.
- Model a safety-first, service-oriented approach that reflects KBS values of reliability, teamwork, accountability, and respect.
- Assist with process improvements and implementation of new procedures or technologies to increase efficiency and service quality.
- Provide hands-on support with material handling, picking, packing, or cleaning tasks as business needs require.
