A well-established manufacturing company in Suffolk, VA is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join its warehouse team.
We are looking for someone with a strong work history, solid attendance, and 2+ years of recent forklift and warehouse experience. This position primarily operates an electric sit-down forklift and requires someone who is comfortable loading and unloading trailers, moving and stacking pallets, staging materials, and supporting shipping, receiving, and production.

Responsibilities- Safely operate an electric sit-down forklift
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Move, stack, stage, and store pallets and materials
- Supply materials to production areas as needed
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
- Use RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems
- Assist with shipping, receiving, order staging, and inventory activities
- Perform forklift safety inspections and report equipment concerns
- Maintain clean and organized aisles, docks, and staging areas
- Follow all warehouse, forklift, PPE, and safety procedures
- 2+ years of forklift, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Recent sit-down forklift experience strongly preferred
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
- RF scanner and inventory experience preferred
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and dependable work history
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
- $21.00 per hour
