Responsibilities- Provide high-quality instruction and assess student learning through both formative and summative methods.
- Prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments tailored to different learning styles, ensuring that students meet course objectives and outcomes.
- Incorporate learner-centered principles and motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational experience.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain timely and accurate records, including attendance verifications, academic progress, and final course grades.
- Collaborate effectively with students and colleagues; work constructively with individuals from diverse cultures, gender identities, language groups, and abilities.
Applicants must have experiences and availability (in-person) teaching the following courses: ENG 095 Integrated Reading and Writing from 2/16-5/15- 2026 at the Sugar Grove Campus from 9:30-11:15 a.m.
Minimum Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Education or Reading from an accredited college REQUIRED.
- Competency in technologies commonly used in college level instruction (Canvas & Zoom).
- Experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online.
- Master's degree in English, English Education or Reading
- Experience teaching Developmental English at a community college or university.
- Experience with ELL students a plus.
