- Machining Fundamentals on Tuesdays, 6:30pm - 9:30pm at SG- 16 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Adjunct Faculty are responsible for providing instruction and formatively and summatively assessing student learning.
  • Prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to engage students with diverse learning styles.
  • Empower students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities for them to meet all course objectives and outcomes.
  • Incorporate learning-centered principles and concepts to motivate student to actively participate in all aspects of their educational experiences.
  • Evaluate students and provide timely and accurate reporting including attendance verification, academic progress, and final course grades.
  • Meet the established course description as well as program, course, and college learning outcomes and/or objectives while addressing each student s needs as diverse learners.
  • Follow safety rules in the laboratory as instructed.
  • Incorporate instructional technology appropriately and effectively to deliver and enhance teaching and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with professional colleagues to serve the needs of students and the community.
  • Demonstrate professionalism with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology or related field, or
  • Associate degree in the field of industrial technology and industry certification(s) and 4000 hours of work-related experience in the field.
Preferred Experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience teaching traditionally under-served populations.
  • Experience incorporating technology and multimedia applications into teaching and learning process.
  • Experience in teaching in multiple instructional modalities.
  • Experience in utilizing Learning Management Systems.
