CNC Manufacturing Engineer

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join our client in Sugar Grove, IL. This direct hire role is fully onsite.

The CNC Manufacturing Engineering will be responsible for creating programs and CAD files for CNC laser and fabrication equipment, ensuring accuracy, and optimizing material utilization. This role requires 3+ years of CNC/Laser programming experience and experience with nesting, toolpath, and CAD file preparation is preferred.

• Create and maintain programs and CAD files
• Use effective nesting strategies to optimize material utilization
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Create program libraries
• Maintain documentation of CAD files and standard procedures
• Ensure smooth transition from design to production for new products

• Minimum 3 years of CNC/Laser programming experience
• Experience with nesting, toolpath, and CAD file preparation preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Thorough understanding of fabrication process
• Proficiency with Sigma Nest and Auto CAD required

Salary: $45-$52 per hour
