Talent Manager, Employee Relations, HR Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
LHH is partnering with a well-established client to identify an experienced HR Manager. This role will oversee all core human resources functions, including recruitment and staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, safety and workers’ compensation, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR leader who can support employees, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and serve as a trusted partner to the management.
The anticipated salary for this role is between $95,000-$110,000 + bonus (target 10%).
- Lead and provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and direction to HR team members
- Advise employees and leaders on organizational policies, procedures, and expected behaviors
- Review and evaluate compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness
- Conduct employee relations investigations and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Oversee workplace safety initiatives and manage workers’ compensation claims
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates to employees
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal employment regulations
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including reviewing openings, interviewing candidates, and extending offers
- Partner with temporary staffing agencies to manage staffing levels, performance, and pay-related matters
- Process new hires and support payroll activities as needed
- Collaborate with management to resolve employee concerns and provide coaching support
- Review and approve HR-related invoices (e.g., staffing agencies, uniforms, benefits)
- Administer FMLA and leave of absence processes
- Manage and monitor the HR budget to ensure alignment with plan
- Maintain employee handbooks, personnel files, and all legally required documentation
- Support and execute social compliance and customer audits
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Manager role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- High level of professionalism, credibility, and integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to support employees at all levels of the organization
