- Coordinate and maintain cleanliness of facilities at the campus to present the best possible image of the college at all times.
- Coordinate and complete furniture moves and event set‑ups as required.
- Monitor custodial supply inventory, request additional stock as needed, and keep inventory neat and orderly in the assigned area.
- Coordinate extra cleaning/set‑ups for special needs directed by campus leadership.
- Perform cleaning tasks to cover missing staff members, unusual conditions, and emergencies.
- Handle all emergency situations during the shift to minimize damage and safeguard the campus; notify Lead Custodian, Facilities Services Supervisor, or Senior Buildings and Grounds Manager immediately.
- Identify and report maintenance problems on campus to Lead Custodian, Facilities Services Supervisor, or Senior Buildings and Grounds Manager.
- Snow removal as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years’ employment experience in a custodial or maintenance related position.
- Physical ability to lift 35 pounds individually.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to make work‑related decisions without immediate supervision.
- Flexibility to work required hours for special functions at college facilities.
