What Can You Expect
  • The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now and Viewpoint.
  • This position reviews employee timecards, enters payroll data into multiple systems, verifies payroll accuracy, and ensures compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
  • The Payroll Specialist also supports payroll reporting, including Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) reporting, while providing excellent customer service to employees and management.
  • Review employee timecards for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Audit time entries to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing.
  • Enter payroll information into ADP Workforce Now, including hours, earnings, allowances, and other payroll transactions.
  • Assist with weekly payroll processing while ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Accounting, and Operations to ensure payroll information is accurate and complete.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience; construction payroll experience preferred, with strong experience in certified payroll, prevailing wage, and multi-state payroll.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Viewpoint Vista strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
