Walters Hospitality - We are seeking a talented and creative Bakery Chef to join our team at our Ashton Gardens Atlanta location. As a Bakery Chef, you will be responsible for baking, decorating, and creating high-quality cakes for our customers. The role requires an individual with both culinary expertise and a strong attention to detail, who can manage ordering supplies, production, and ensure the consistency of our products.

    Education:

    High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
  • Required Experience:

    Minimum 2 years of cake decorating experience
  • Certifications:

    Serv Safe Food Handlers or equivalent
  • Physical Requirements:

    Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
  • Other:
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States;
      Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify
    • Submit/complete background check; have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

DUTIES
  • Responsible for baking cakes, desserts and cake decorating.
  • Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone, horizontal, stucco, wedding dots and palette.
  • Must have a working knowledge of food coloring, fondant, edible images, and cake design.
