Senior Accountant

INSPYR Solutions is partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization that is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead plant-level accounting and serve as a key finance partner to operations and corporate teams. This role owns the full financial picture of the plant and plays a critical role in driving accuracy, performance, and continuous improvement.

• Own all accounting for an assigned manufacturing plant, including P&L, balance sheet, and manufacturing statements
• Partner closely with plant leadership to support financial performance and operational decision-making
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  , including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly variance reporting (budget, forecast, and prior year) and drive root-cause analysis
• Analyze inventory and manufacturing variances, including standard costing and inventory revaluations
• Support monthly forecasting, annual budgets, and capital planning
• Prepare and review capital expenditure requests (AFE), including financial analysis and tracking
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and fixed assets

• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies
• Manage intercompany transactions, lease accounting, and GR/IR processes
• Support audits, cost savings initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 3+ years public accounting or 4–5 years industry accounting experience
• CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree strongly preferred
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional partnering skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP/BPC experience a plus
