This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sugar Land, TX, for a Commercial Property Accountant. The Property Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial statements, CAM reconciliations, processing journal entries, reviewing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing account reconciliations, overseeing general ledger activities, generating financial reports, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial documentation.
Qualifications- Commercial Yardi Voyager experience required.
- Yardi implementation a plus Setting up charge codes and chart of accounts.
- CAM Reconciliation billing and true-up experience required. Retail national tenant reconciliation billing is a plus.
- Proficiency in creating and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Experience with Accounting processes, general financial management, and adherence to financial guidelines
- Skilled in preparing and reconciling Journal Entries related to accounting transactions
- Expertise in Finance with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all accounting tasks
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in real estate or property accounting is a plus
- Work hours 8:30 am-5:00 pm in office Monday-Friday.
