• Process registration for all programs, classes and events. Welcome customers and provide accurate information on programs, events and classes. Supervise participants attending programs, classes and events.
• Responsible for assuring adequate supplies are maintained. Order supplies as needed in compliance with department policy.
• Answer incoming calls, direct calls as required, and research information as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain all equipment and programs within the Recreation Center.
• Assist with special programs and events throughout the year.
• Assist staff in compiling reports and other documents and paperwork.
• Follow emergency procedures.
• Assist other parks and recreation staff with all other duties as assigned.
• Required to work as an essential employee before, during and after an emergency or disaster, whether natural or acts of war.

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• One-year experience in providing customer service
• General office experience, including working with a computer and calculator
• Cash handling/cash drawer experience
• Municipal experience is preferred

• Valid Texas Drivers License
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid Training within 6 months
