Position Summary:

The Customer Service Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing support throughout the order and service process. This role is responsible for responding to inquiries, processing orders, preparing quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a trusted resource for customers by responding to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
  • Prepare and provide quotes, product information, pricing details, and order updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics teams to support customer needs and ensure order accuracy.
  • Monitor order status and provide customers with updates regarding shipments, delivery schedules, and product availability.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, account information, and activity notes within company systems.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns, discrepancies, and service-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support branch and sales initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Stay informed on products, pricing, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate customer support.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of customer service, account support, inside sales support, or related experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, or order management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Net Suite ERP is preferred.
