Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our dynamic endodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during endodontic procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30-5:00 pm.

Because we are an emergency based treatment practice, we sometimes work through lunch and/or stay late. You must have the ability to work through lunch and/or stay late.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

Take x-rays and CBCT scans as required, adhering to safety protocols

Take vital signs and accurately record medical history

Utilize dental software such as TDO patient records management

Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use

Assist the dentist during procedures and exams using four-handed dentistry techniques

Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and managing waste disposal.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Qualifications

At least 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant and have your RDA license

CPR certified

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Experience with x-ray procedures and equipment is required
