Part Time General Science Tutor

The Part Time General Science Tutor provides student tutoring/assistance in biology, chemistry, anatomy, study skills, time management and other academic success related topics. This position may also assist in the creation and presentation of academic success related workshops, lead study groups and assist in the computer lab. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and candidates will be considered as departmental needs arise.

The Part Time General Science Tutor position requires an Associate's degree (or higher degree) in a science related area, education, general studies or related field or current enrollment at a university with a minimum 60 hours completed toward a bachelor degree. This position requires extensive knowledge of multiple science courses and strong interpersonal skills. A criminal background check is also required.
