Senior Network Engineer

Location: Sugar Land, TX (onsite 4 days a week)

Duration: 6 month contract (plus ongoing extensions)

Hourly Rate Range: $60-65+/hr (variable dependent)

• 8+yrs as a Network Engineer with focus on data center and enterprise networking
• 4+yrs Cisco ACI, Spine/Leaf architecture, or other SDN solutions
• L2/L3 Networking
• Data center & cloud connectivity (Azure, AWS)
• Cloud OnRamp architecture and connectivity
• SD-WAN
• Network security:
  Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Zscaler
• Fortinet solutions (Forti Gate, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Forti Client, Forti
  
  SASE)
• Network automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar

• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE)
• Fortinet certifications
• Security certifications
• Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) or other Network Access Control (NAC) solutions
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
• Enterprise network monitoring tools (i.e Solar Winds Orion)
• QoS, Multicast, and traffic engineering strategy
• Packet capture and analysis tools (Netflow, IP SLA, or similar)

The Senior Network Engineer designs, builds, and supports the organization’s network infrastructure, with a focus on data centers. They ensure the network is secure, reliable, and scalable while working closely with architecture, security, and project teams.
