Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for an Additive Manufacturing Engineer located in Sugarland, Houston.
- Install, calibrate, and commission metal additive manufacturing (SLM/LPBF) machine at customer facilities.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring maximum machine uptime.
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support to customers.
- Deliver customer training sessions on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Document service activities, maintenance reports, and technical issues for internal tracking.
- Collaborate with the engineering and sales team to support customer success.
- Act as a trusted technical partner, representing Eplus3D with professionalism and customer focus.
- Major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
- Prior experience with industrial equipment, CNC machines, or additive manufacturing systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and industrial software.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems under time pressure.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. Person required).
- Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 50% of the time).
- English fluency required;
Spanish/Chinese proficiency is a strong plus. - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
