Our partner, a highly respected manufacturer of ruggedized electronic and computing solutions, is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in technically complex environments and enjoys driving engineering excellence across product development, manufacturing, compliance, and reliability initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in EMI, EMC, and ESD practices along with a proven background leading electrical engineering teams in manufacturing or product development environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
  • Oversee electrical design activities including schematics, PCB reviews, validation, troubleshooting, and board bring-up
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for EMI, EMC, and ESD mitigation, testing, and compliance efforts
  • Drive design reviews, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, mechanical engineering, and leadership teams
  • Support production issue resolution and improve reliability and manufacturability across products
  • Help establish and maintain engineering standards, processes, and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of electrical engineering experience with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong experience with EMI, EMC, and ESD compliance and testing
  • Background in electronics design, validation, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, or ruggedized electronics environments preferred
  • Familiarity with standards such as FCC, CE, and MIL-STD is highly desired
