Electrical Engineer

Field Bridge is looking for an Electrical Engineer in Sugar Land, TX to work for the world's largest oilfield services company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

$48 - $68.00/hour | Hybrid "Blue Flex" schedule, 8 AM–5 PM, on-site Tuesday–Thursday (Mon/Fri optional WFH) | Weekly pay every Friday | OT opportunity based on lab/project needs | At $68/hr and 50 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of $3,740 gross.

Important Notes:
Electrical engineering degree required. Open to recent graduates with relevant academic, coursework, or internship experience, as well as experienced candidates with hands-on downhole electronics background.

Position Overview

Field Bridge is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support hardware and electronics development in a hands-on lab and design environment. This role covers circuit diagnostics, power supply and motor systems work, and troubleshooting for downhole electronics applications. Ideal for engineers who enjoy solving real hardware problems in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic circuits, power supplies, and motor control systems
  • Support downhole electronics applications and printed wiring assembly (PWA) troubleshooting
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics for design and testing
  • Use CAD tools to support hardware development and documentation
  • Conduct hands-on hardware development, testing, and lab support
Required Qualifications
  • Electrical engineering degree
  • Experience or academic exposure to hardware systems, power supplies, AC motors, motor drivers, and motor control systems
  • Electronic circuit troubleshooting and diagnostics skills
  • CAD proficiency
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
