Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30 pm, Saturday:
Rotational 9:00am – 2:00pm.
Role:
To assist current and potential members with their Credit Union consumer lending needs; explain services, interviews applicants for consumer loan application, processes loan request for decision, funds and closes loan with loan applicants, collects underwriting stipulations, gathers complete and accurate title work for lien perfection. Loan types include vehicle, unsecured, credit cards. Does not process mortgage or real estate loans. Does not have lending authority.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Interviews loan applicants over the phone and via email or text to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition. Explains loan programs to members, evaluates their needs and recommends loan options. Process and prepare all loan documents for decision. Answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
Complete accurate title work document procurement for the purpose of lien perfection.
Funds approved loan and closes explaining the terms and conditions to the members.
Meet or exceeds required referral and ancillary product goals, including but not limited to: GAP, VSC, tire and wheel/windshield protections, debt cancellation coverages including life, disability, FMLA, and unemployment coverage.
Other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
To provide prompt, accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional service to all members via phone, email, or text.
To troubleshoot and resolve members and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
To ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
To meet or exceed the referral and loan dollar goal each month.
To meet or exceed ancillary product goals monthly.
To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers.
To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
Is responsible for compliance with all required regulations and policies, especially with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) policies, procedures and regulations.

Experience:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education:
A high school education or GED.Interpersonal
Skills:
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Sales and cross-selling skills required.
