Wire Processor

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $20.00hr - $25.00hr Requirement/Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of banking, credit union, wire processing, or financial operations experience preferred.

Experience with wire transfer systems and core banking platforms is a plus. Strong understanding of wire transfer procedures and financial institution operations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers accurately and within established deadlines. Verify wire transfer requests, member information, and supporting documentation to ensure authenticity and compliance. Review transactions for potential fraud, suspicious activity, and regulatory concerns. Process internal transfers accurately and within established timeline. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), OFAC requirements, and other federal and state banking regulations.

Assist with daily balancing, reconciliation, and reporting functions related to wire operations. Respond promptly to member and internal staff inquiries while providing excellent customer service. Participate in audits, examinations, and compliance reviews as required. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and recommend process enhancements.
